Nominate a younger member of our community to switch On Ashbourne's dazzling Christmas lights and Magnificent Christmas Tree

Parents, Grandparents, carer's, Brothers, Sisters, Aunties, Uncles- we need your help!!Ashbourne Town Council are asking you to nominate a child to switch our Christmas Lightson and light up our Magnificent Christmas Tree on Saturday the 16th of November 2024.The Event will be held at The Market Place at 5.30pm and the winner who will be drawn live on our Facebook on the 15th of October 2024, before the event they will be invited to meet the Mayor and local dignitaries along with three members of their family to enjoy refreshments in The Town Hall.To enter your child, (ensure that they willing to switch on the lights) complete a nomination slip which can be picked up in the Ashbourne Historical Centre Mon-Fri 10.00-3.00pm post it into our sealed box and on Tuesday the 15th of October, just before The Council meeting The Mayor, Cllr Sandra Spencer will pull one lucky winner from the box. Last date for nominations is Saturday the 12th of October at 12.00 noon.Please only nominate if your child is willing to turn on the lights and you are willing to have the child's name on Social Media and our website pages.
